Whewwwww....I am gonna make it before March ends...lol What a tough month! I've been working on this all month off and on. Wanted to make more goodies, but there just isn't enough time in the day anymore. I have been preparing for Easter and I think I am almost done, just gotta bake some goodies yet and of course dye those eggs...but that is for Saturday. I am pretty exhausted after work today so I am gonna make this short and sweet...lol This is what I came up with for the Color Challenge at DSO...

Hello Peeps!! I didn't forget about this blog, just been going
though alot of family problems the last few weeks and I feel
like I have been through hell and back. God, I love my kids but
boy do they do a number on me sometimes. In my next life
I am NOT having children!!! I could never imagine in all my
life how tough raising teenagers can be. To those of you with
young ones, please...just enjoy them!!! Cause when those freakin
teenage years hit...you'll want to kill them sometimes...
God, give me strength!!!! I could go on and on but I am afraid
I won't stop...lol So I better get going with what I have been
doing on and off....

It's the beginning of March and that means new color challenge,
that is a work in progress and hopefully will get it finished,
just know that I have at least started it. lol
And KimB has been keepin all of her CT really busy.... Heck I am
not even sure where to start with her stuff...but before I do I
just have to show ya what I did.
Jen aka Chaos Lounge RAKed me when her new kit, My Big Adventure.
I fell in love with as soon as I opened it and knew right away which
little guy I wanted to use with it...Zander... It's a great boys
kit and those boys kits are always hard to find...

Ok, I think I got everything, keyword being THINK...lol I got a
hectic weekend coming. My niece is having her baby shower Saturday
and I have lots of cooking to do and then Sunday I am hosting a
Stampin' Up Party with a bunch a crazy women...LOL I sure do look
forward to these get togethers. But for now I have to get ready for
lunch with a girlfriend who is in town for a few days. I guess I
won't be getting any scrappin' done this weekend... maybe during
the week, if things calm down here a bit.

Color Challenge done!

Hey everyone! Quick post today, its hubby's birthday and I have so much to get done before he gets home, gotta bake a cake and make his favorite dinner...Shepard's pie...ewwww, but its his fav, so I gotta do what I gotta do...lol Then I gotta go find a gift, geezee men are so hard to buy for. I haven't a clue what to get him!! So shoppin' should be loads of fun! lol

I did get to meet ET on Monday. We had a wonderful lunch at Paneras. Then did some shopping, had a few laughs in between. I don't think she liked my driving... bwahahaha. But she is still alive, so that counts for something...lol Maybe next time you can drive...hahaha

Ok, so I got the color challenge for DSO done, the real challenge for me is how do I post it on DSO, I haven't done that in a few months and things changed over there so much. So I am gonna show you what I did and head over there quick and try to figure that out. Then head to the kitchen and do some major cookin... Hope ya'll like it, I think it turned out rather well....lol If you do like it and snag it, a simple thanks goes a long wayyyy...

Hey Everyone! Since I last chatted with ya'll we not only had 1 snow storm but another one came in called a blizzard. It sure is pretty out there, but I don't like driving in the stuff. Got stuck one too many times. So now I just stay indoors and pray they get the roads cleaned up quickly so I can get out of this house for a few hours. Its one thing being inside and knowing you can go out, but its another when you are stranded inside and can't get out.
And that is usually when I need to get out most! LOL But some good did come out of me staying inside, I did get some more scrappin done. I've been playing with the DSO Feb. 2010 Pick Ur Bits Kits from KimB and Gaye. Here are all the goodies and you get to pick which ones you like to use, instead of getting a huge mega kit and not wanting or using everything, you get to pick the bits you want... LOL Some of you just might know who I am talking about....lol Eilajean...
as I call her ET... Her and another friend are the ones responsible for draggin me into Facebook....now we all are addicted to the place...lol But anywayyy,
I am jumpin for joy that we finally get to meet! Will let ya'll know how that goes...heck she could be a mass murderer for all I know... hahaha So if you don't hear from me next week...call the police! LOL

Well its Friday and that means hubby takes me out to dinner, yeah,

Howdy peeps! Told you I would be back this week. And not with one
surprise, but two of them. We are waiting for the blizzard of the year
to begin, so I am going to get this up and quick get out of this house
before I am trapped in all weekend. What a weekend to be trapped too,
it's Super Bowl Sunday, my team didn't even get close, so I really
don't care who wins, but if I have to root for a team, it will have to
be the Saints and since I will be stuck inside, instead of going to
the scrap stores I better start getting in the mood...lol
Ok...enough of me babbling, probably to myself anyway...

I'm backkkkkkkkkkkk....lol I know its been a long time coming, and seriously

I didn’t think I would ever get back into scrappin again.

A lot of things have happened and although I won't bore

anyone with the details, to make a long story short,

I have lost a few peeps in my life and it some how affected

me in some weird way. As much as I tried to scrap, it just wasn’t

coming to me. I know I am not the only one this happens to as

I have seen a lot of peeps gone from scrappin these days.

I am just one of the lucky ones who found their way back.

I didn't even know it was happening, it just happened.

So for the past few weeks I've been making layouts again

and I gotta say, its GOOD to be back! I've missed so

many of my friends here and I can't wait to meet some new ones too.

So now that life seems to be getting back to normal

(yeah right! as normal as it can be! LOL)
and scrappin is back in my life I figured I would start this blog thing again,
and KimB was gracious enough to keep me on her team! Gosh, I really
do love her work and she is coming out with some

fantastic things, and of course I've been playing with

everything I can get my hands on...lol So within a few days

you'll see what I have come up with.

Today I am going to start the Color Challenge at DSO...

man, its been so long since I've done one of those, thank God we got all month...lol

But first I want to show off what I've been doing the last few weeks...

I have to apologize for not having the credits for these,

as I didn’t think I would need them for my blog at the time

I was doing them, just want to say that none of this was made by me,

and if you see your stuff, know that I loved it enough to use it!

And from here on out, credit will be given.

My favorite subject to scrap is my family..especially my niece and nephews..

Yeah, I do have 2 girls, but they don't like getting their

pictures taken these days and its okay with me, cause I don't

want to remember these teenage years anywayyy! lol
My sister Kim actually thanked me the other week for taking

so many pictures of her kids through the years, she had all her

pictures on camera, and little Zander got her camera and deleted

all her photos...which wouldn’t be too bad if her computer just

didn’t crash and she lost everything! Hopefully she learned the

lesson of SAVING stuff onto a disc!

Anywayyy here are some layouts I did...

These are my niece and nephews last summer...

This photo was taken Thanksgiving, felt like altering it a bit...lol My sister doesnt live by the mountains and there isn't a lake in her yard either...lol

Zach turned 5 in January, this kid is a pistol!

And now a message to all my Facebook game buddies:
Gosh I loved playing the games and it really has helped me escape
life some days. And although I will never give up FB, cause I
really do love keepin in touch with everyone, I am giving up
a lot of my games. Ohh not all of them, cause that would be just wrong!!!
LMAO But I am going to keep just 3 of them going. That way I can still
play with you guys...lol And to my Bejewel Friends, and you know who you are... SORRY! that is one that I will keep playing...hehehe
You guys will know which ones I not playing anymore...lol
I will not delete the games, cause as you know, the more friends
you have for these games, the better game you play. I just want
and need to find time for my scrappin again, I know you'll all understand!

Well, its Monday and that means I gotta go stupid food shoppin or this family of mine will starve to death...lol So have a great day and I will be back later this week with some surprises! lol

Well, well, well....look who the cat drug in....LOL ME!!!!
Yeah, its been awhile...haven't have the mojo to scrap
for what seems like forever, hey.. I have tried and threw
many things in that garbage can, hoping that maybe
someday it will come back to me. With fall around the corner,
my daughter back to school, hubby back to work after his
hernia surgery and of course plenty of facebook time.... I think
its time to get back to scrappin again. Honestly, I can't say
how long this is gonna last but as long as my mojo is back
I am gonna keep going...lol So we will see....

So how is everyone??? Missed ya'll alot!!! I guess I should
go visit you all and give ya a heart attack....lol But first I gotta
finish this blog!!!

Can you believe KimB still has me on her team??? With
me being such a slacker and all....lol THANKS Kim...

Ohhh man have I been slacking on this blog!!!!

Go ahead yell at me, I deserve it!!! LOL

But it is summer and we did just come back

from our vacation last Saturday....
A vacation I don't think I will ever forget...but that
story is for another time....Going through a few family
problems too....Kids!!!!! But I am not gonna bore you
peeps with that either. Its just a stressful time at the
moment but as with all things....this too shall pass!
I have soooo many layouts to do of all the things that
have been going on this summer and I should get my butt
in gear, but for the life of me I have no desire to scrap...
so I am chalkin it up to summer time...

Ok, so not really, as I am getting this ready Thursday night.
This way its already to go in the morning! Hope everyone is
doing good...Me, I am ok...its been raining here all month,
I think they said we had 4 days of sunshine this entire month
and they want more rain this weekend...
someone send the SUN please!!!
Before my entire body looks like a prune...lol
2 more weeks before vacation, yippieeee, all that quality
time with the family. I can't wait...yeahhh right...
but we are planning a few trips all in the Poconos,
so it should be pretty good. Weather permitting..lol
Hopefully Mother Nature is getting all this
rain done and over with so it will be a sunny vacation!
The worst part about going away is NO computer..
how am I going to survive????

Hellooo, yeah... it's me... don't have a heart attack...lol
Gosh its been so long since I blogged, I almost forgot how
to do it. LOL Yeah, I've been a real slacker the past few
weeks. No layouts, no kits, no nothing!!! Just haven't been
in the mood I guess. So I figured I would take a break from
it all... and I must say it was nice....lol
Got myself addicted to Face book and playing the games...
Thanks to Eila and Melanie for that!!!!! LOL But it is
loads of fun....and I am really getting to know ET better...
She was even soo sweet to send me some
wonderful goodies before my surgery and
a great cd filled with awesome music!
I know I said thanks...but I really want
to say it again... THANKS!!!! I don't care what anyone
says about you ET... you're #1 in my book! LMAO
I got the surgery done on my mouth, so I am half way through
it all. Now onto the right side.. as I go farther in debt..lol
My DH has an umbilical hernia, so his operation is next month.
Ohhh what a great month that is going to be. I can't wait till
the moaning and groaning starts! LOL Men, they really are babies!
Hopefully he will be back to work in 2 weeks, he is thinking he will
be out of work a week.... I think it will be longer...
But for once, I hope he is right! LOL Then the first week in
July we go on vacation...Yippie another week with hubby....
OMG I am gonna kill him! LOL Too much quality time! hahaha
But other than that, everything is good with me....

One Fine Day QP and more....

Good Morning Ya'll! Hope everyone is okay! This
has been one hectic week for me, and it's all
about stupid cars...For some reason, not just one
car broke down, MINE... But my DD Heather's car died
the next day....ugh! Mine is just old age..lol she
needed a new radiator, which we got one, Monday
night, but I had to wait until Tuesday, something
about watching the TV show 24....UGH.. Tuesday,
Heather leaves her car door open and her battery
is dead....can you say STUPID!!!! Now I must wait
till we get her car jumped to get my car done. DH
comes home, not in a good mood I might add, and
takes my car to his friends, only to return 15 minutes
later... Nope, I do believe it takes a little longer than
15 minutes to put in a new radiator! LOL Well, they
ordered the wrong size. Grrrrrrrr!!!!! Now I am stuck
driving a HUGE van to work, which means I have to
stay in the slow lane and putz to work! Take all the
turns slow, so the stupid van doesn't tip over....I miss
my car!!!! She did finally get fixed last night and I
think we are going out for a nice drive today. And
we are gonna go fasttttttttttt! LOL Ok, enough of my
drama....

I finally got some layouts done! Yep, I found my MOJO,
don't know how long it's gonna last, cause the weather
is suppose to be in the 80's this weekend and hubby
got the gazebo up, so I think I will be spending some
time outdoors this weekend...anywayyyy I guess what
helps is Kim is back from her 2 weeks, or was it 3 weeks
vacation...lol and her stuff just floors me, throw me
some flowers, paper, birds and butterflies and I am
in heaven...yeah, I am such a girly girl....LOL But,
that's my style, I have no boys...lol
Ok, back to what I was saying, Kim got a new CU

Hey Everyone! How was your Easter? Mine wasn't too bad.
Spent the day with family, always have a blast with my sistas!
And of course it wouldn't be the same if they didn't load my
purse with something, this time it was dry pea soup! I should
know better to bring my purse with me!! One of these days
I will learn. lol I am sure I will be finding little peas in every
nook and cranny until I dump everything out. Rotten Sistas! lol
Besides that we had the egg hunt, which was nice but sooo cold!
I think they said this was the coldest Easter on record! So much
for global WARMING!

Will I finally finished the color challenge at DSO...yippieeee
I haven't name it, cause I just can't think of one! My brain
is on slo-mo lately, I haven't even did a layout in over a week.
And now I think I am getting my annual spring cold...ohh, just
something else to complain about....lol Anywayyyyy, here is
the preview, I have been working on this all month, and it's
all I got left in me....lol

Just a quick post today...Wanted to fill
everyone in...I didn't take the job...
and I feel sooo much better already!
You peeps were right...the stress isn't
worth it. So after much consideration
I'll stick with my one day a week!!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh, the stress is gone!
Now I can get back to things I love
doing. #1 playing on my computer...
I haven't made a layout all week,
so I guess I better get my butt in gear.
It doesn't help that I just joined Face Book,
I am sorted addicted to it at the moment,
playing games...LOL I figured I am just
gonna play until after Easter. Then I will
get cracking on making stuff again. And
besides, since Kim went on vacation, there
really isn't anything that I HAVE to do...
but went she gets back I am sure the ideas
in her head are going to be exploding!
Soooo, if I don't get back on here before
Easter... everyone have a Great One, and
eat lots of bunny ears too, they don't have
any calories on Easter day...LOL I will
be spending the day at my sisters Kim's house
then to my MIL's..holidays are always busy
days. Ok, off to the races I go....LOL

Blah, Blah and 2 Awards

Yikes, it's been awhile! I just haven't been in the
mood to blog, got too many things going on at the
moment! I don't know why I stress so much, I should
just let things fall where they fall, but I got myself so
worked up that my mouth is soo tense, yeah you heard
me right, my mouth, I don't know why, but when I get
stressed out it seems to attack some part of my body,
this time is me jaw! Go figure! So you might be asking
yourself what is she sooo stressed about??? Ok, I tell
ya, but its gonna be the short version....lol
This girl at work is leaving, which would give me a shot
of working full time, I didn't know if I should take it or
not and even if it would be offered to me. I have done
some of her work before, but not all of it. I like her job for
the most part, but there is one part that is just not up
my alley. And it's a very important part. As a medical
receptionist, one part of the job requires me to go back
into the room with the doctor, since he is a male doctor,
if a patient is female someone has to be in the room with
him.. stupid, I know, but it cuts down on the legal malpractice
suits, I guess. Which I don't mind doing that, except for when
he want to do a procedure, or someone is in pain do to a
surgery. Last week I witnessed so many things, and I just don't
know if I can handle that part. So this is where the dilemma comes
in. Well, the girl left last Thursday, so it's a wait and see if
the doctor is going to ask me, and if he does, what do I do???
In the mean time, I am racking me brain trying to make the
right decision, and heck maybe I won't even be asked.... I
try not to think about it, but that is really hard. I am also unsure
if I want to work full time again. Yeah, the money would be great,
but I haven't had to work in 20 years and I am kinda used to the
life style as it is, doing what I want to do, when I want to, KWIM?
Working part time is great, even if it's one day a week. But to
do it everyday, plus take care of everything else, is what's gonna
drive me crazyyyy, I know a million people do it everyday and
what makes me so special that I shouldn't do it too.... and I
can't answer that...at least for now. Hopefully I will know more
next week, but as for now, that's what has been making me
crazy and now I must let the chips fall where they may.
Try telling that to my jaw!!! LOL. Ok, enough about my personal
life onto to something much livelier! LOL

Some Bunny Loves You Kit

Hello Everyone! Gosh I have been neglecting this
blog lately, I guess it's bound to happen with the
weather getting warmer. Plus I have been working
a few more days lately and just might have a full
time job lined up, but time will tell with that one.
I haven't had much time to do layouts either and
when I do have time, nothing is coming to me. So
I took a few days off from making them. It's not
like I don't have tons of photos, just don't have
the oomph to do them. But I have been playing on and
off with a Easter kit and I finally finished it today.
And with me working the rest of the week I figured
I would let you guys see it. I really love the way the
bunnies came out... I know I still have a ways to go
with this digital designing thing, but I think these
are really cute...LOL So you wanna see it???? LOL

Happy St Patty's Day to all!!! 3 more days till spring!
Bring it on!!! Gosh, I have so much to show and tell today,
geezeee I feel like I am back in kindergarten...wanna see
what's been happening the past few days....lol OK!
Well Saturday was Brett's third birthday, had a wonderful
time at my sisters and of course I got mega pictures of all
the rugrats...lol but there was a new one this time... I swear
my sister Kim is glutton for punishment, like having 4 kids
isn't enough, 3 being under the age of 4... she just needs
something else to keep her busy with and hey might as
well be a dog, and not any kind of dog, a big dog! Well,
she is not that big yet, but she will be...of course I took
her picture....here is Misty.........

Isn't she a cutie, and she listens pretty well too, and bite alots.
But, I don't have to put up with it, so go ahead Kim, have a ball!

Sunday, Lisa and I did get together and do our cards! We did
Birthday and Get Well cards....wanna see??? LMAO of course you do!

Monday was computer day, played most of the day. Jazz has some wonderful

Now, why am I late today, well this morning as I am
enjoying my coffee and reading up on what everyone else
is up too, Heather comes into my room, with this different
voice, yeah, the first thing that comes to my mind, crap,
she's pregnant!!!!! I slowly turn to face her with this huge
pit in my stomach and there she is holding a kitten.....
"Can we keep her" Damn, why do they have to be sooooo cute!
Of course I said NO WAY!!!
Who is gonna take care of this kitten.... Oh, I heard it all,
of course she will take care of it, besides cats don't need
that much attention, they eat, sleep,crap and need a few pets
a day, Mom's it's not like you have to take it for walks
or anything......Yeahhh right!!!!
Well, I am just thanking God she isn't with child
and say, Ok...but she is yours, I am not feeding her,
changing the litter or taking her to the vet!
Will see how long this last.....Just great,
just what I need, a cat!!!!
But she is cute....wanna see....OK! LOL

This is Zoe! Now Heather runs off to work this afternoon
and I am stuck watching this cutie, of course the dogs don't
like her, she hisses like crazy at them. So there I was
babysitting a freaking cat, yeah, I hear you, it could
be a baby!!!!! YIKES! LOL But this is not what I had in mind
to today.... I had stuff to get done on my computer, but nooooo,
I am playing referee between 2 dogs and a cat! Then I have to
surprise hubby when he gets home... Oh this should go really well,
I knew it wouldn't, but I already fell in love with this
little creature, now I have to convince him too....
I hear the car door slam, ohhh man, there's the pit in my
stomach again....Upstairs he comes, looks in on me and
says.... What the hell is that???? He kept saying No wayyyy,
take it back....this wasn't going the way I wanted it too,
he gets up and goes outside, for like an hour.
Heather calls, "how's Dad doing?" Not good Heather...
did he hold her....NOPE, he doesn't want to.....
I'm trying, but I don't think we are gonna keep her....
Well after another hour or so, he comes back in, well
it's dinner time too and says... Why did you give IN!
I say, just look at her!!! Well, to end this story we
are keeping her....Heather doesn't know yet as she works
till 9 tonight...so I think she will be very happy when
she gets home! And DH still hasn't held her....yet! LOL

Well, that's about all I got for today, and personally I
think it's enough for one day.
Work tomorrow...YIPPIEEEE!!!!

flies by. It's been one of those up and down weeks.
I am sure most of you know about KimB's sister, Gaye joining
the crew at DSO. Man, does she do some wonderful work!
I got lucky and got to work with her first new kit and I
can't wait to play with again at Easter. If you haven't checked

Well, that was the good news, now the sad news. I am sure
some of you know Jenni aka ChaosLounge, well, she lost her
brother yesterday. I've gotten to know Jen working with
her on Kim's CT. She is such a wonderful and funny friend.
My heart just aches for her, losing someone is never good,
but when it hits your family it just never seems real or fair.
I wish I had the words to comfort her at these trying times.
But they never seem to come out the way I want them too,
so I will just say Jen, you and your family are in my thoughts
and prayers!!!

Now back to some good news.....
I finished the CC for DSO....with 2 weeks to spare, I swear I
didn't think I would get in done this month. But it's done and
ready to go. I kinda like the way this one came out, perfect
for the spring that is almost at our doorstep...lol

Natural Moods and Camping Out!

Hello everyone! Gosh do I have tons to chat about today,
so sit back and be prepared for a long post.

We changed the clocks, Ohhh man I hate the change.

I accidentally changed it 2 hours ahead,( don't ask!! LOL)

so I was way off on time all day on Sunday, I am still

not sure what time it is...lol I don't know about

the rest of you, but it takes me a good 2 weeks

to get used to this change. I have a hard time

getting to sleep and even a harder time getting up!

Let's hope these next two weeks fly by!!! lol

Last week was a crazy week for me. I had to work
all week which meant going to bed early and getting
up early and NO jammie days...LOL I tried scrappin'
after dinner, but nothing was coming to me, I was
thinking I lost it! I would shut the computer down
and pray that the next night would be different,
but it wasn't. Saturday finally comes and I should
get stuff done, but nope my mojo was lost. The weather
man says its gonna be a warm day, so off the computer
goes again, I went out shopping for myself and my dogs
of course...lol had a nice day getting some of that warm
air into these lungs of mine. And when I came home and
started to play I couldn't stop...the layouts just started
flowing again, YIPPIE I found my mojo!!!

So now where do I start...
Well, I will start with the kit that inspired me.
Beth RAKed me with her new kit called Natural Moods... It
has everything in it I love, yeah I am a girly girl, I love
flowers and ribbon and it is my favorite color blue! I knew
what photo I wanted to use and everything just came together.
I really like how this one came out, so I emailed it to Beth
and thanked her profusely for giving me back my mojo! LOL

This is Ambry, she was at Abbie's birthday party last week,

party, but she wasn't feeling good, so we just decided to
do that another day. Which was fine by me, I had more
layouts to get done anyway.

Kim had gotten her new kit done and I needed to make something from
it. Wait till you see this one! If you like camping you'll LOVE
this one! I haven't camped in many years, we go RVing which is
more up my alley. Gotta have that bathroom and shower...nothing
like camping with those luxuries. Plus electric and cable...LOL

do it! Might as well be ME!!! But first I need a list of what I
am making, decisions, decisions!!! I am thinking simple this week,
maybe cereal, those boxes aren't heavy! LMAO....

I still have to get the color challenge done for DSO. I tried
making stuff, but it just wasn't working last week, so hopefully
this week will be better! I should have it done by the end of the
week, hopefully!

Bring on the Leprechauns!

Yippieeee February is over and goodbye to all that
lovey dovey crap! March is a FUN month and its the
only month where if anything goes wrong I can blame
it on the leprechauns! Poor little guys get blamed
for sooo much! LOL

Well we had our blizzard for the year, snowed all
night and most of the day too. I love these days...
I call them jammie days! LOL I was suppose to work
today, matter of fact I have to work all week, but
since we got the snow, I got to stay home! I sooo
wasn't ready to put in a full day work, hey I had
a busy weekend, so I needed a day just to recoup
and of course play on my computer...LOL
And that is what I did! I got my kit done and got
2 challenge layouts done! But that is gonna be it
for the rest of week.

Saturday was Abbie's 1st birthday party, wow a
whole year went by so fast, for those that don't
know who Abbie is, she is one of my friends daughter
whom I been making layouts of since she was born,
so I could give her the book for her 1st birthday.
The party was great, but I have to admit, I was really
happy to go home, there where 4 babies there, all
under the age of 1, I am soooo not used to that
anymore....LOL I am not sure what is worse, having
a screaming baby all the time or puttin up
with a teenager...kinda tied if you ask me! lol

Sundays all my friends got together and we played
Dollar Store Bingo. What a blast it was, ok,
I hear ya, what it $$ store bingo?? You go to the
dollar store by 3 gifts, or something you have around
the house that is new and you wrap it up. You play
Bingo and then if you win you get to pick out a gift,
they are all wrapped, so you never know what you are
getting, makes it more fun....LOL And if you get something
that can be worn, you MUST wear it!!!
Like wigs, thongs, boas...that sort of thing, and I am
there with my camera....lol One of the girls bought
scratch off lottery tickets and the winner won 50 bucks...
nope that wasn't me, I got a box of tissues!!!
Yeah I tried to trade it, but nobody wanted my tissues....lmao
I did get more things but I like to talk about the
tissues! All in all we had a great time and I got lots
to scrap with! What a week to have to work!

Okay enough rambling, as I mention before I did get
a kit done, and it may be a little early, but I need

Not only once, but twice! LOL The first time
was from Loucee, she left a comment saying
I was tagged, I had no idea what she was talking
about...lol I just shrugged it off thinking she went
nuts, besides, I hate tag! We used to play it all
the time when we were kids, and I was always
IT...everyone would run and hide and there I
was looking for days, so it seemed at the time...lol
for everyone, I would get so mad and scream
I hate this stupid game and why am I always IT!!!
I QUIT!!!!! lol Little by little my friends would come
out of hiding and they would laugh like a bunch
of hyenas as I tried to catch them...oh man, the
memories are are flooding back and I don't like it!
LOL Maybe I should try this game now with my
kids...they could go hide and I am pretend I can't
find them....hahahaha I would let them stay in hiding
for a few years ...hahahaha Now that would be FUN!
Okay back to reality....damn!
As I was reading my comments, Melanie says you've been
tagged, I am like what the heck is going on!!!! So off to her
blog I go...hey I can handle this kinda tag! LOL But what
picture do I have in the 6th folder, 6th one in...yikessssss
So off I go to check, curiosity got the best of me and
I just had to see.....not to bad....whewwwwwwwwww, lol
So here it is...

This happens to be my nephew, Brandon last Easter, yeah I still have
last Easter layouts to do....lol We were playing this game
with eggs on a spoon. We gave all the kids hard boiled eggs
except for Brandon and he didn't know it, so it keeps throwing
this egg up in the air catching it, we keep on cheering him on,
each time he is getting higher and higher....LOL Well the last time
it went up in the air and he reaches to catch it, BAM smashes right
in his face....yeah we laughed like crazy....and I had the camera ready
to go when it smashed. I do have a few of him throwing it up catching
it but this was the 6th one when he went to the ground....I guess
I better scrap this page before this Easter! LOL

To anyone who really cares, yeah I'm still around.
I had my party on Sunday and it went really well.
It was my turn to host the scrap party, so that meant
a week of cleaning! Did I ever tell you how much
I HATE cleaning!!! Hey KimB I sooo wanted to borrow
that nanny you have! The dust bunnies I have seen
are utterly amazing, but I need that motivation of
having a party to get this house in order. LOL Now
my spring cleaning is almost done. I only have 2 more
rooms to rip apart, my bedroom and the rec room, which
will take me till summer to get done!

I've been trying to play on the computer, I got so many
things going at one time, it's really confusing me... so
I saved everything I started onto one page and shut
PS off for the next few days.

Today I scanned more of my wedding photos, I wanted to
make a book in order, but it doesn't seem to be working
that way... lol I seem to be skipping all over the place
these days... I think I have ADD. lol But I did
accomplish some layouts, and I even cheated with a few
QP's... hey, I gotta use them! LOL They are just too
pretty to keep hidden in a folder!
I guess I'll show them off....lol

this later this week, if I get my butt in gear and get

bushfire Appeal. Not only has this effected Australians,

but human beings the world over.

29 Australian and international designers have banded

together to help support many Australians,

animals and communities decimated by one

Australia's worse national disasters.

What happened?

On Saturday, Feb 7, the temperature in Melbourne was 33'c by 9am.

By noon it was 40'c and by 2.50 pm soared to 47.9'c (a state record).

Thousands of people were also about to start running from the inferno

that would become one of Australia's worst peacetime disasters.

Trees ignited in the blink of an eye.

By the time people heard the roar,

it was too late to flee ahead of the flames.

Unfortunately no one or thing

could have stopped this inferno that wiped out

communities, bushland, and lives within minutes.

Many towns now cease to exist!

After watching interviews with survivors,

many say that they cant put

into words what they went through,

saw or felt on that day.

Valentine Surprise!

Hello all! Is everyone bolted down? I got a swimming
pool in my pond at the moment, and 3 garbage cans on
my front lawn that I have no idea who they belong to.
Anyone want to claim them?? LOL Yeah, it's a bit
windy out there today, not a good hair day either!
There isn't enough hair spray out there that will
keep your hair in place with 80 mile an hour
winds from blowing around. I think I will stay put
today and just listen to all the items blowing around.

So how many people have plans for this Valentine's Day?
My plans are to go out to dinner, double date with my
sister, should be loads of fun, we haven't done that in
awhile. One time we went out and it was her DH birthday,
as they came out singing with his B-day cake, we told
him he had to stand up and he listened...LMAO...
we should of told him he had to stand on the table....LOL
That would of been funnier. But nobody stands up, they are
always too embarrassed, NOT Brian..... which made it even
funnier, I bet we can't get him to do that again! Although,
we tried! LOL I am sure something funny will happen, it
always does when I am with my sister. I can't believe
our hubby's agreed to this, since they are always hiding
there faces when we get together in public...LOL

So in honor of this mushy, gushy day...I made a small
kit up, and after today I don't want to see or hear anymore
of this lovey, dovey stuff....it's really making me sick!!! HAHAHA
I figured out why St. Patrick's Day is a very important
holiday for me, and NOPE I am not Irish.... LOL
All the romantic crap makes me wanna hide till
March 17....LOL so I say BRING ON THE LEPRECHAUNS!!!

Waiting for Spring

Good Morning Peeps! By the time you get

to read this it will be Afternoon...lol It

takes me a good hour or so from start to

finish when I blog, even if I keep it short

and sweet...lol Keeping up on a blog

is lots of work, I don't know how some

of you peeps do it everyday!! More

power to ya, I'm lucky if I blog twice a

week..LOL anyhowwwwwwww....

Yesterday was soooo nice and warm,

I just had to go out and take in some

of that warmth. They said it wasn't going

to last long, and of course they were right,

by night time, right back to freezing again,

but what little time I got, was just what I

needed... I actually do fell a lot better,

someone up above knew just what I and

many others like me who are going through

the winter blues needed!

After dinner I decided a walk would do

me good, so off I went, only to discover

this lovely sunset in the sky, of couse I

didn't have my camera, so I turn right

around to get it, I didn't want to miss

this one, the sky just looked sooo neat.

Wanna see??? LOL Sure ya do....hahaha

(Pretty Cool huh???)

And a HUGE THANKS to everyone who tried
to cheer me up, that worked too! Yes, things
could be a LOT worse!!
But sometimes just venting and getting it out
of my systems works for me, I used to keep
everything bottle inside, and as I grow older
and wiser I learned that it just makes matters
worse, and so, if I have to vent a little, so be it!
LOL Okay, enough about me....

Guess what????? Kim has her new February Grab
Bag up in the store!! It's totally AWESOME!!! I can't
get over how many goodies are in this bag, and the

Hello peeps! Has this been the longest week
or what! There is just something about February
that makes time just drag! I've been in such
a rotten mood and I can't shake it for nothing!
I can't even stand being with myself these past
few days... man, this better pass soon or I just
might have to kill someone....LOL I really
should be happy.. Heather DID get that job,
full time with benefits... AMEN.. but she doesn't
start for 2 weeks, ohhh, I can't wait to see her
butt get up at 5 in the morning....well, I won't
actually see that, cause I will be in lala land
myself. Now she can start paying back the millions
she has taken from us!!! Yeah right, I'll just
be happy when she starts making her car payments
and pays her car insurance again!

Well, we got our taxes done last night....UGHHHH!
So much for me having a job, it took us into a higher
tax bracket and if it wasn't for having Amber as
a deductible..we would owe this year! So, now I
have to figure out what I am going to do for next
year, because it was put to us, ever so gently,
that this is the last year we can claim Amber!!
Just Great....now who is gonna claim her next year?
hmmmm it can't be me!!!! LOL Let the government take
her for a few months, I am sure they will change
there minds after a few months and gladly let
me claim her on my income taxes until she moves
out! LOL There's those darn dreams again!!!
Told ya I wasn't in a good mood! LOL

Anywayyyy, enough about the crap that makes
this world go round.... onto something lighter...

Maybe I will feel better if I can give something
away....(besides my dear children) LOL
I did promise I had something else to go with
the kit I made last week, and I am not sure if
anyone wants it or not, but I did have fun playing
with it...I haven't a clue what you call it, some say
border, but I don't know....maybe it's just a plopper!

Fe'brrrrrrr'uary Already!

Hi peeps!! Yeah, I know I have been slacking with
this blog, actually took the whole week off!
I've been busy doing a challenge at SBM...my
first time hosting a challenge, and it turned
out rather well. Thanks to all the great girls
for playing along!! I also have been trying
to get my daughter a full time job, she finally
has an interview tomorrow, so with both fingers
crossed, I am hoping and praying this goes well.

Today is SUPERBOWL Sunday....Nope, my team
didn't even make the play offs this year...heck I think
they only won 2 games the whole season...but when
I stick with a team, I stick with them, through thick
and thin.... although these past few years have been really
thin, but they got to get better one of these years....
You might be curious as to what crappy team I love....
well, it's the Kansas City Chiefs.... NO booing please! LOL
I have tons of money invested in them, and I am not
changing teams any time soon...lol As for the Super Bowl,
of course I must root for Pittsburgh....Actually, I really
don't care who wins... I just like watching the commercials...
LOL Nobody is home here today, all at Parties... I am just
not into the party mood these days, so I'll just stay home
and entertain the dogs...

I did get Kim's February Challenge Done, I just have to make
previews and zip it up, so that is what I will be doing tonight.

Good Morning Peeps!
Gotta busy day planned today,
so I am going to TRY and make
this short and sweet!
No, I didn't get out this weekend
to take pictures, it was toooo darn COLD!
Hubby and I had a date night on Friday,
we try to do that at least once a month.
Nothing too elaborate, just to spend
some quality time together. I feel like
I should do that once a month, since I
am on this computer so much! LOL
We went to a flea market type of place,
just to look around. Then out to dinner.
Nice evening with hubby and back on the
computer this weekend.

gonna happen with this...so I started in the middle...
LOL We will be married 22 years in April, gosh,

Just a quick post tonight.
I just wanted to say thank you
to everyone who left a comment
about the teenage situation.
I know I am not the only one
in this world who is having a
difficult time with these years.
I have just needed to vent lately,
cause it seems like anything I say
to these kids anymore just goes in
one ear and out the other, I know
this pass and I can't wait. Just want
you all to know how grateful I am
to have others out there knowing
what I am going through.
I thank you for all your advice!!!
See, at one time, I would
go to my mom, cause she just knew
everything and would tell me like
it was, it's times like these that I
miss her the most!! Now I have to
rely on others and that is kinda hard
for me. Soooo THANK YOU!!! I have
took everyone you said to heart and
will get through this come hell or high
water!!!

Today history was made! As I sat and
watched the 44th president being sworn
in, I prayed for a better world for all us.
I am sure it's going to be one rough road
for us all and not everyone is happy about
this, and those of you who have prejudices,
you will have to come to terms with that
in your own way. I personally don't care
what color his skin is, as long as he does his
job and does it well!!! May God give
Barrack Obama the strength he is going
to need to steer this country back to were
it belongs!

Good Evening Peeps, sorry I didn't blog
this morning, but I had to work today,
I knew last week, so I got all my running
around done yesterday. I guess I made
my kids happy when they found out I wasn't
going to be home today, actually so happy
they decided to have their friends over
and eat all the food I just bought. Heather
had the day off from work and Amber
had off from school because of the holiday.
As you can probably tell, I am not very happy
this evening!!! I came home to find
a sink full of dirty dishes and newspaper
thrown all over place, Calgon take me AWAY!!!
Maybe I can suck my brain into this
computer and forget they exist for a few hours,
I just might feel better!!! I sure hope it works!!!
I told my hubby the other night, that in 2 to 3 years
we are moving out of state, I think that
is the only way to be free of them,
they won't want to move with us, cause I am sure
they can't leave their friends.
I am so serious, this might be the perfect
plan for all of us!
I figured Heather will be 23 and Amber 19,
they can go live their lives and I can see
them only on holidays! I talked to hubby
and he is more than fine with it!!!
We want to move south, so we are thinking
North Carolina, there are a few people that
I know, that live there and I hear the beaches are
beautiful! It's a bit warmer there too.
And I think it will be better than CALGON!!! LOL
Okay enough of my ranting!!!

I read your comment, and went as far as
zipping them up into 2 files, something happened
and I totally forgot all about it! I am truly sorry it
took so long to download and I promise I will

with you all... First one being, from EliaJean, she
had this post yesterday about how YOU can help
fight hunger in America, at first I thought, yeah right!
What do I have to donate now, I already have
my favorite charities that I donate to. What is this
gonna cost me this time??? And actually I was
quite surprise...with just a click, I can help feed
someone and it's not gonna cost me a dime, heyyy,
I can do that!!!!! So my request to all you digiscrappin'
peeps, if we all can do this, just once a day, maybe
it will put a dent into feeding the hungry, Nope, we
can't help everyone out there, but how hard is it
to just make one click everyday, we already do
it a thousand or more times a day, what's one more!
And EilaJean went and did some investigating into
this, here are some facts for you to read.

Now, what I did so I don't forget this is, I put

get SMART...., yeahhh right!!!! Who am I
kidding!!! They will probably use my good
towels, then I would HAVE to kill them....LOL
I swear when they move out, I am having
the biggest celebration EVER... and NO, I
really am NOT going to miss them, you will
NEVER see me type "ohhh the kids are gone
and the house is sooo quiet, I am going
crazyyyy"....NOPE! NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When they
do move out, maybe I will get a housekeeper,
cause then I could afford one! LOL

Well, that's all I got for tonight, it's really
cold here and they want it to get colder,
(5 degrees, brrrrrrrrrrrr)
we are expecting a few inches of that white
stuff, so I think I will get out of my work
clothes and into my jams...YEAHHHH!!! and
stay in them all day tomorrow!! LOL Oh, before
I forget, I lost 4 lbs...wahoooooooooooo, only
26 more to go! Well, actually more, but that is
my goal, I don't want to lose all this weight
in one year, hahaha... and I do LOVE chocolate!
I am craving it like crazy...but I have to lose

Yippe Skippie, It's Monday!!! The house

is quiet and of course dirty. Some friends

of mine have been telling me they

have nannies or housekeepers. I am like in AWE

of these peeps! Why didn't I ever get one!!!

Why wasn't I ever smart enough in the beginning

to even think of getting one, oh, that's right

I never had the MONEY.... LOL So, I have

no one to keep my house clean except

for me, cause if you think my kids would

wash a dish around this house, no freakin'

way, let alone put a new toilet paper on the roll

after using it up... Yeah, that is a huge pet

peeve with me!!! I swear, sometimes I would

love to take all the toilet paper and HIDE it....

just so they know how seriously mad I get

about that! But hubby says Nooooo.....

I can't win for the life of me!!!

that is when I wish I had a house keeper, I bet

she would keep the toilet paper roll stocked for me! LOL....

What a subject for the beginning of the week.

It's snowingggg!

Hello Everyone! How ya’ll doing? Me, just wonderful, it’s
been snowing all day today! Sure looks pretty, so what
does one do when it's snowing? Get in the car and
go to a sisters house, filled with kids! LOL Of course,
by the time I got there, they were freezing and
needed to get warm, so they were all inside, but
I did have a blast playing with them, man, they
are changing so fast. Zach, you can't shut that
boy up, but he is so full of adventure and I love
listening to his stories. Zander and Brett fell
asleep, so me and Zach had a great time with
the camera, I let him use my small camera, and
he was having a blast taking all kinds of pictures
of every toy he has. Thank Goodness, it's digital!
Well, that kept me busy for awhile, I needed
to get away from this computer, I have been
working on 3 layouts for about a week now, I am
just not happy with them, into the trash
they keep going, so when hubby called and
said I need to get out, I didn't disagree this
time. We even did a bit of food shopping
together, which that hasn't happened in
many, many moons! But I needed some fruit
for this diet I am on. I kinda started Monday
but I didn't have my supplies until Wednesday..
Ya know, it cost sooo much more money
to be a diet....LOL I know why peeps
don't stay on them, not because they
lose will power, but because they lose all their
money!!! LOL This time, I am trying something
new... Shakes...NO!, not milk shakes, but
that does sound really good at the moment!
It's called Herbal Life, you ever hear of that
before? One shake for breakfast and one
for lunch and a sensible dinner. Well,
I didn't get the mix until Wednesday, so
I have been not as good as I should, but
I have been exercising 20 minutes on
the treadmill and doing 10 minutes of
weight lifting. Yesterday was what I call
a BAD CAROL DAY... I caved and ate pizza,
I know that it's not really that bad...but I not
only had it for lunch, I also had a slice for dinner!!!
You fall off the horse, get right back up and
ride again! So today, I've been really, really
GOOD! and haven't slipped once, I guess,
it's a step by step thing... and lets hope
and pray I make it through the night! LOL
Okay, enough about me... I got some things
I want to show you peeps, well, LOTS

Do you Believe in Fairies??

I do, I do... WARNING...short story.... lol

When I was in 2ND grade, I discovered

the school library... I always loved to

read, one day when browsing the library
I came across this book called Thumbelina.

For two years, every week, I took that

book out of the library... I guess you can

say it was my favorite book when I was

little tyke. I was fascinated by that little

fairy who could fit in the palm of your hand.

I can't remember what the book was about,

but I will always remember the feeling I

had when I read it, over and over and over

again! LOL How I got to like scary books,

is beyond me....hahaha But anyway, where

was I going with this...hmmmmmmmmmm

Ohhh fairies, that's right. I have seen so many

fantasy layouts and I gotta say, how much I

enjoy looking at everyone layouts,

so one day I tried it myself. Here is the

layout I did for Abbie...

I plan to give this book to on her 1st birthday.

Well to make a long story short, a friend gave me

a great idea to make a kit, so that is what I have been

working on. I think it came out pretty good

and decided to share it with you all, if you want

it....that is! LOL It's a biggie, so I was trying

to figure out how to do this, I could make it

last all week and give just bits and pieces, or

just do it all in one day....Ohhh decisions, decisions....

LOL Then I thought, what I would want...

well, that is simple...all in one shot....so that's

what I am going to do... Here are the previews:

computer and its slow for me, I can't image what
it is like for peeps who have an older computer...
So for now, I am back to my original, until I can

figure out how to make it not so slowwwww.

Mine was nice and quiet, I got in my jams, had my
appetizers and fell asleep 15 minutes before midnight.

Of course I was awaken by fireworks at 12:01am...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Only a few more hours left in 2008!!
What a year it has been! I am not going
to say it was the best of years, but it wasn't
the worst either. The good part is nobody
close to me has gone over to the other side,
and for that I am so grateful! My health
has been rather good, except for the occasional
toothache, but if that's all I have to gripe about,
then I consider myself one lucky person!
One thing I did great this year was start this
blog, it utterly amazes me how kind people
can be, ya know, I stood in a huge line at the
grocery store today and just watched peoples
faces, nobody was smiling....so ya had to stand
in a long line, whoopiedodah....
I was thinking, just be grateful you
can stand and then I started chuckling to myself...
see, life is what you make it. I had a blast standing
in line, and I even let this little old lady go in front
of me. ( My good deed for the day is done) LOL
If I had one digi-wish (is that a new word?) LOL
It would be that I could personally meet you all,
I do see the smiles in your writing and what a feeling
that is to see. To try and explain this to someone
who is not in the digiscrappin world is so hard,
they just don't understand how one can be so
involved with people they never met, but even
though we will never see each other face to face,
I can feel the true friendships I have formed and
WOW I am sooo LUCKY! So, to my old and new
friends... I wish you all the best in the year 2009!
May it be a year of good health and lots of laughter!
I would raise my glass of champagne to you all, but
I don't drink anymore....someone get me a glass
of sparkling cider please...LOL

Xmas Photos and Challenge is Done!

Hiya Peeps!

How was your Christmas? Hope you got

everything you wanted! Mine was pretty good.

It had a rocky start but ended rather well. Of course

my sweet daughter Heather made it a Christmas to

always remember! I am wondering if I can sell her

on EBay, oh heck I'll give her away for FREE at

this stage of the game! I promise I won't bore

you all with the teenage problems...oh man, she

is NOT a teenagers any more, what do you

call them now??? Jerk Years! Stupid Years??

Well whatever it is I am looking forward to

the packing days! It can't come soon enough!

After the morning ruckus here I ended up

having a wonderful day with my family... All

month long of preparations for a total of

10 hours....I think I am going to Disney

next year for Christmas!!! LOL

I didn't take a bunch of pictures this year, but I

did some good shots. Here are just a few of them.

Mine are simple, just staying home!! I used

to go out and party with the gang, but now I

am a good girl and stay put! I'll make a few

appetizers for me and the old man and try to

stay awake to watch the ball drop. The kids

will be out and all will be good!

New Year's Day traditions include making pork

and sauerkraut, putting the silver in the sink for

good fortune and I can't go shoppin that day,

cause it's suppose to mean you'll be broke all

year, geeze I have been doing that forever and

I am still broke, maybe I should try shoppin' on

New Year's Day and see how that really works! lol

Also the first man to walk in the door is suppose

to bring good luck. I remember my father getting

up early every New Year's Day so he could be

the first man to walk into his sister's houses. He had

5 sisters and it took most of the morning, then off

the to club he would go and we wouldn't see

him till dinner time. So what are some of your

traditions?? I'd love to hear some!

Well, Kim should be happy I finished her color

challenge... and I still have 2 more days left in the month! LOL

Hey, it was a hectic month!!!I didn't realize how

big it got until I went to upload it....Holy Cowwww...

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
I sure hope ya'll are ready for Santa!
I know I am! I do have to venture out today for some
fresh strawberries, well as fresh I can get at this time
of year anyway. They are must for the Chocolate
Fountain. I like to say it's for the kids, but I would
be just fooling myself, chocolate is at the top of the
list of my favorite things, lol and there is nothing
I love to see besides presents under the tree all for me
and a fountain of chocolate screaming at me to eat...lol
But before the fun begins, I still have a few things
to get done, so before I get busy with all festivities
I just wanted to quickly wish all my friends out
there a Wonderful Christmas... may it be everything
you wished for and more!!
The other night I got my camera out and just started
taking pictures of the tree and all the other
decorations I have, I tried the picture
of the Christmas ball, but I still got some
experimenting to do with that... I have to figure
out how to take the close up picture and not see
me in the ball...LOL oh well, maybe next year...LOL
But anyway... I think I did capture the essence of
my tree this year, so I made it into a card for everyone...

Work's Done and "Anew Freebie"

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
everywhere I go....Come on peeps sing
with me....LOL Today was my last day
of work til next year and I am sooo happy!
I swear this was the longest day, it just
seemed to stand still at times and I swear
that clock was broke. I shook it a few times
to try and get the hands to move faster! LOL
I was only suppose to work 1 day this week
but my boss, Linda, decided she needed
a vacation before vacation....LOL The nerve
of her....lmao....Honestly, out of everyone
that works there she certainly deserves it!
That girl takes so much crap from our sweet
doctor, I sure hope when she gets back he shows
a bit more appreciation!!! I did miss her,
so much stuff broke this week, and she has
to come back and fix it all. We love to bust on
her, like when the fax machine is out of paper,
she will be busy and we will be sitting there
talking about something, right next to the fax,
the beeping begins and we look at Linda and start
laughing... "Linda, it's out of paper again".....
ohhhh, she stops what she is doing, loads
the paper and we continue with what we where talking

(**just a note** we only did that once to her, about
the paper, but we still laugh everytime that fax
starts beeping)...
so when she was away, of course we had
to call her, the fax needed paper, so did the
copier, plus what a time for toner to go too...
3 printers ran out paper also. To top it all off
the kitchen sink is full of water and someone broke
the toilet seat!
WELCOME HOME Linda....hope you had a great
time!!!! LOL We were going to put a bunch of
charts all over her desk too, ohhh, to see the
look on her face when she walked in on Monday,
would of been PRICELESS!!

But we decided, that since she got all this
other stuff to deal with, we will let her slide.
Now that work is done, it's time to get ready for
the holiday, I still got more baking to do and do
all the wrapping. Then I must get a list going
of what kind of food we will be having.
I am thinking Grilled Cheese
are sounding better and better.....LOL

Today is my DD Heather's 20th birthday! Happy
Birthday Sweetie!!! When are you moving out?????
LMAO....Of course she is not here, she decided
to go away with her friends, so much for a
small party at McDonald's.... and they have that
playground there and everything...she just isnt
any fun any more!!!! LOL
And I was going to buy all her friends happy

meals too, oh well, there is always next year....
So whatever you do Heather, don't make any

plans... I got you on your 21st birthday and

we WILL go to McDonald's!

Good morning everyone!
What a dreary day it is here.

All rainy and cloudy...So

you know what that means...

JAMMIE DAY! YIPPIE!

I gotta tell ya, the other day

when I was expecting my MIL and

I made myself get changed, she NEVER

showed up! I should of known. She popped

over the next day, thankfully I was
dressed and actually doing something
besides sitting at this computer.

After I get done with bloggin' , I am

going to lock the door and pretend

I am not home! I got oodles to tell ya

and I am sorry to say I have no freebie

I just had to laugh, as she sniffed everything.

her mind... I wonder if she thinks

all this stuff is gonna attack her

while she sleeps or something...LOL

I should be going shopping today, I gotta

Snowgirl finds her Brother...

Hello ya'll! I must say you peeps know
how to make someone feel good! The
responses I got on my snowgirl certainly
made my day!!! I thank you all!!! Now
that my ego has been adjusted,
for the better, I might add...lol)
I went back to the drawing board.
Why, I never save my stuff in a psd file,
is beyond me! So yes, that snowgirl I just
saved as a jpeg. And since the response was
soooo good I did her brother! LOL
Maybe it's a good thing I
don't save them as psd's...since starting
from scratch again, I got to learn more
this time and I gotta tell ya, I am loving
this one....LOL I guess it's the vest on
him, I played with smudging, blurring, adding
shadows with a brush...not the shadow button
and I really like the way it looks....I wanted
the bulging out of the seams look.. then I
wanted the stitches...ohhh, that look a bit
of time, but well worth it, I think anyway...lol
But before I show you my snowboy you just gotta
see these layouts from my friends at SBM.
I was totally floored when I went into the
gallery this weekend and every time I went in
I saw someone using my stuffs.... That really
made my head swell....LOL So I wanted to share
them with all you peeps!

Catchy title huh??? You'll see why in a few
minutes, if I don't get too chatty! LOL
I see I have been neglecting my blog, BAD ME!
But I got a good excuse, I swear! And I will
show you soon....
But first, I got some FANS out there,
who would of ever thought!!! LOL Certainly
NOT ME!!!! I can't tell ya how exciting it
is to make stuff and then actually see peeps
using it!!! It just floors me, and at the
same time, I get all oohie inside, I know,
oohie isn't a word, heck I just made it up,
I just can't think of the word I want to use
right now and I do like making up words...
makes life a bit more interesting and people
look at you weird too...but that's ok, it makes
people laugh! I swear try using OOHIE today
and people will think you totally lost it! LOL
I know, I'm a weirdo!!! LOL
Anywayyyy, I want to show you some layouts

I made something in PS all by myself, used
some shapes and normal brushes....LOL It started
out as a teddy bear, cause I always wanted to make
one of those, maybe one day, but now is not the
time...LOL I've been working on this all week...
Maybe I have been just looking at it too long and
it started to grow on me, I don't know, but I think
it came out rather cute...so here it goes, DON'T LAUGH
PLEASE...my Mom always had this phrase and it would
go like this..."If you don't have anything nice to say,
don't say ANYTHING at all".....well, that's how I am
going to take this....and don't just say it to make
me feel good either, I need to know! Is it CUTE
or do I need to start again...cause I will....I am
like that.....LMAO! ok, ok, ok, enough rambling!!!!

Winter Wonderland

Woke up to a snow covered yard this morning!
It sure looked pretty, but I am glad it
didn't stick around! Rain soon followed
and it was all washed away. I spent
all day Saturday in my jammies, I just love
days like that. I actually try to do that
once a week and wouldn't you know it, every time
I do that, that is the day my mother in law
decides stop by...I swear that lady must think
I live in my jammies, she never says anything,
but I can just see it in her eyes!! Ya know
the look... as she looks you up and down and then
glances over to the kitchen sink and still
see the dinner dishes stacked waiting to be
washed....yep, I will never make it as
Mother of the year....LOL Now if only she
would grab that vacuum cleaner and get the
dog hair off the stairs that has been there
since last time she was here and I was
in my jams, I'd sure be happy! LOL

Today was another card making day, I am 3/4
way through now, I think maybe another day
and they should all be done, I got to get to
the post office and get the out of states ones sent
so they get them before Christmas, so I guess
that's what I will be doing tomorrow, and of
course all the other running around that has
to be done, that's why I am posting tonight,
I won't have the time tomorrow! But I still
ain't running the vacuum down the stairs....
I soo look forward to seeing my MIL's face! LOL
As my kids would tell me...."NOBODY TOLD ME TO DO IT"
Can you image living life and not doing anything
until someone tells ya????? A saying keeps
poppin' in me head....and I am sure you all heard
this one before...."I can't wait till you have children
and I pray to God they are just like YOU!" I say
that more and more these days....LOL
Ok.... I better stop before I can't....LOL

Anyway.... I got a new kit for ya, I think it came
out pretty cool, don't forget I am still new at all
this....so be nice....LOL It's in the blues...
Yeah, I love the blues! And it goes perfect with snow!

Just want ya all to know I WON!!!! Yeah!!!
We had TURKEY and NO CLAMS!!!!
Freakin' wacky sisters are sooo lucky!
But they still want grilled cheese sandwiches
for Christmas...lol NO WAY... I control the
menu....hahaha
The day went rather smooth! No fighting or
anything! I gave my family the BEHAVE TODAY
or ELSE talk and get this.... IT WORKED!!!!
I do believe in miracles after all!!! I have
got to say this was the first year there
was no screaming before we left the house.
Now that Heather is driving she drove her and
Amber to Lisa's, so there was no bickering in
the backseat either....pure joy it was!!!
I have some pictures to show....I took loads
again... I think like 300 this year, never know
how they are gonna look until they are on the computer,
ya know! I will show just a few and I did a layout
of our annual family picture... plus, I decided to
do something a little different with it too...you'll see...lol

Black Friday:
We were out the door at 5:00 am this morning and I got
home around 4:30 pm, I am dead tired but I did get almost
all my Christmas shopping done, just have to get Lisa, cause
she was with me, and it wouldn't be a surprise if she saw it...lol
Plus a few odds and ends, but the gist of it is done! Amen!
Now that Black Friday is done and all my funds are low...its
time to sit back a relax for a few days...aaahhhh, that's going
to be nice...just to relax!!!

I sure hope everyone had a wonderful day and shopped til they
dropped today, cause that's what I am about to do...DROP!
Gonna grab me self a turkey wrap and some pumpkin pie and veg the rest
of this evening!

Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll!!!

The holidays are upon us....man it just feels like last
week we were taking down the tree, now at the end of
the week it will go back up again. My dog isn't going
to be a happy camper that's for sure, we won't see her
for about 2 weeks. It takes her that long to start
coming around. Yes, she is afraid of all the decorations
and we just get a kick out of her when she has to go
outside....yep, we have the reindeer out there that are...
animated of course... but we don't have to worry about
KC chewing on them....she will never get that
close. LOL Heck that dog stays away from me when I come
home from grocery shopping. She doesn't like the
bags.....go figure!!! I told ya she was a nut! lol
But I wouldn't trade her for anything!

I have so much stuff that has to been done, and yet
I sit here and type to you fine folks! LOL I have 25
lbs of twice baked potatoes to make, 2 pumpkin pies
and 2 apple crumb pies. Plus I went out and got a turkey,
just in case my sister is serious about those clams.
I figured I would make that Wednesday night, that way
I don't have to get up early Thursday, I did mention I
am NOT a morning person....lol
Except for black Friday...yes, I am one of those crazy
people pushing and shoving at 5 o'clock in the morning.
It's tradition, Lisa and I have been doing it for years!
Actually I don't push and shove anyone,
cause I still got sleep in my eyes and peeps are usually
pushing me out of the way. There is NEVER nothing I
need that day, but we do get some good deals, and of course
I always see something for me, that I just gotta have.
Yes, every year I buy myself a few gifts, just in case
I don't like anything hubby gets me, I got my back ups....LOL
I wrap them too, sign them from Santa. When I open them I
act sooo surprised, my family thinks I'm nuts, but I don't
really care, I LOVE Christmas!
But before all the talk about Christmas we gotta celebrate
Thanksgiving. My second best holiday! LOL The family is
together and I have the 'please be nice just for one day talk'
with my girls and off to Lisa's we go.
We eat and eat and then eat more.....gotta love it! LOL
The sad part is my Mom is no longer with us, there is always
that empty place in me, that wishes we could all be together,
just once more! But I guess that isn't going to happen, here on earth.
One of our traditions we have is to go around the table and say what
we are thankful for, the one year, Brooke sang for us and 2 years ago
Lisa had a list so long the turkey was getting cold....lol Besides the
usual, being thankful for my family...and yes... I am thankful for
them...lol I would like to say to all of you who read my antics
and such I am thankful for all of you. You give me the courage
to do something I love to do and I love sharing it will all of you!
May you all have a wonderful day with family and friends and be
thankful for all the little things we all take for granted.
Now enough of this mushy stuff.... I just can't handle to much more....lol

Ambry and her family were heading back from Disney when
they stopped to take a break, Ambry got in the driver seat

This is just priceless! And that look on her face....LOVE IT!

I just loved it when she was a baby! Little Baby, little problems,
Big Baby, big problems! LOL
The kits I used are from Moonbeam over at Scrapbook Max! She
makes some really gorgeous stuff. I have always loved her style!
The Ambry layout I used 2 kits together, Perfectly Pink and Basically
Beige. Heathers I just used the Basically Beige.

her wonderful goodies. I also used some of Jazz's wordart...this one is called Smiles. She has
loads of new kits in her store too, so what are you
waiting for? You got 2 stores to shop in and nobody is going
to be pushing and shoving....lol

Well its time for me to start working on my to-do list.
It's never gonna get done if I sit in front of this computer.
I must tell ya I got my blue kit all done for ya, so expect
it next week sometime, I have to get the previews done yet.
It turned out pretty cool, and I called it Winter Wonderland...

Yeppers, it's COLD outside! Got the fire going
and it's nice and toasty in here!

Hello everyone!!!! Hope ya'll are doing good!
Me, I am still hanging in there. Things have been
rather quiet around here, which is a very good
thing!! And NO, I didn't kill the kids...YET! They are
still breathing at the moment. As for my sisters...
YES they are still EVIL, but I am ignoring them
at the moment. I refuse to talk to them until I see
a receipt for a Turkey....lol I have oodles to talk about
so I am gonna get this ball rollin'!

KimB has a new grab bag up for Christmas and
OMG I LOVE it!!!!

She makes the cutest stuff! When she emailed me the
goodies, I fell in love instantly with it and have been

My sisters are up to no good again!!! I have to
find a way to keep those two APART!
After reading my blog last week, which I am sure they
had a blast reading it and thinking of ways to make my
life a bit more miserable than it already is.... but I promise
I will not BORE you all with those little teenage problems...the
only thing I am going to say on that subject is... if you have
small children... Love them dearly now, cause I can PROMISE
you that when they become teenagers something takes hold
of their brain and you will not even believe you gave birth
to that child.
The scoop this weekend is this... Kim wants to have Thanksgiving
with her in laws this year, go figure, she never wanted
to do that any other year!!! So yesterday on the way
to our scrap meeting Lisa nonchalantly tells me this and
we are not have Thanksgiving on THANKSGIVING but we
are going to have it Wednesday instead!!!!!!!!!!! What are
these people thinking!!!! I think they both have lost their
damn minds!!!!! My heart just stopped and my brain
went into thinking mode, how am I gonna swing a dinner
on Thanksgiving! Have I told you that they are EVIL!!! LOL
Lisa and I are making our Christmas cards together, she has
a bit more time than me,lol... so she did Thanksgiving cards this
year, wanna see hers???? Oh I think your gonna love it!!!

The Orchard Knolls is the seafood place where we
usually get our clams!
Then last night after everything finally settles down
here and I get all the screaming out of my system
for one day, I finally get on my computer and head
over to SBM.. Only to almost bust a rib laughing at this
layout by Melanie! I have to show ya all, and I think
my sisters will get a kick out of it as well!!! Thanks Mel,
you ended my night in laughter... I soooo needed that! LOL

I love it and I sure hope to see my
name as the winner!!!!! At this point of the game I am
not sure who is gonna win, I am really not looking
forward to clams that's for sure! And the grilled cheese
sandwiches for Christmas are a bit extreme for me, as
my dear sisters offered to bring Turkey soup for the
sandwiches!!! The nerve, I tell ya! Actually, they better be
kidding, or I am not going to be a happy camper this
year!!!! Can someone adopt me just for the holidays???
I promise I won't bring any baggage, I will leave
it all at home!!! LOL
Now with all this talk about turkey I decide to make my own...
in digi form of course...LOL I know there are others out there
that are more nicer and I was going to do a whole kit, but I
am really sick of doing the browns and oranges. I am in the
greens and reds mode at the moment....LOL I did finish my kit
for the train and I really LOVE the way it came out. My next
adventure is doing something like a blue Christmas.....but I
haven't even started it yet, just in the thinking mode! But for
now I got this turkey if ya want it, I think its fitting with all
the turkey talk lately...lol

Traditions or NOT???

Although I love my sisters with all my heart,
they sure have a way with toying with me,
some would say they are the down right EVIL!
They do make me laugh, but this time they
have gone to far! First off, I think there is one
thing you all most know, I am a traditionalist.
(Is that really a word??) For the holidays, I
love the old fashion things, ya know, like
pork and sauerkraut for New Years Day,
Ham on Easter and TURKEY for Thanksgiving!!!
There are 3 big holidays with all take turns with.
Kim gets Easter, Lisa gets Thanksgiving and I
get Christmas. I was informed this weekend that
the main dish for Thanksgiving is going to be
clams.... CLAMS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG, I can't even tell
my hubby yet, cause he doesn't eat seafood!!!
Now don't get me wrong... I love CLAMS.... in
the summer, for a BBQ picnic, Memorial Day, Labor
Day or even the summer Birthdays. But for
Thanksgiving..... NO WAY!!!!!!!! Then I was told
to make potato salad or pasta salad.... NO WAY!!!!
I make the twice baked potatoes... 20lbs... yeah, way
too much, but they are a hit on the holiday... NOT
a salad!!! Now the tough part, how do I convince
these 2 devils to have a turkey???
I got 2 1/2 weeks to change their minds!!!
I swear they do this just to get my blood pressure
up! And if we have CLAMS on Thanksgiving, we
are having grilled cheese sandwiches on Christmas!!!
Yeah, I say that, but it won't happen... I have to have
the ham and roast beef!! Every year I say I am cutting
back, but that just hasn't happened... YET
But this might be the year to do drastic things!!! LOL
Help me peeps, how do I get Lisa to make a turkey???

Well, I did it... I finished KimB's color challenge at DSO.
I download her swatch every month, but never seem
to find time to do it. All these swatches and nothing
to show for it until this month! Ya know, I don't even
know what the gift is for doing it, actually don't really
care either, I just like to do it for FUN....
it sure got my creative juices flowing and it makes me
practice all the stuff I have to learn! I can't say I am a
pro at this, or even that good, but I am getting there
slowlyyyyy. Want to see it?? "Sure", you say....ok LOL

Where it says name..put what you want to be called and

It was brought to my attention about my files being
to big to download. This is all a learning
experience for me and I promise to get it
right one of these days....LOL I too, used to have
dial up and still remember how slowwwwww it
took to download stuff.
Gratitude was my first kit I ever made and uploaded.
I must of uploaded it at least 20 times, to get it right...
then I thought, (stupid me) that having it in one huge
file would be easier for everyone, so the 21st time I
put it all together! LOL I am still not sure what
is easier for everyone, cause I personally like
to download everything in one shot....well, I do have
high speed Internet now....lol But for those that don't
I have rezipped up my part of the Gratitude Kit into
3 parts....GO FOR IT.... dial-up peeps.....lol Now for
anyone who has downloaded the other zip file DON'T
download this one too....I promise it's the same, just
smaller files! I think what I will do from now on is have
my stuff, if its kits...in 2 parts....one for elements and one
for papers.... Hope that helps EVERYONE out... I know I
can't please everyone but I hope this will help!

Yeahhh, we made Kimmy cry! Mission Accomplished!!!
I gotta say you peeps are the GREATEST!!! Thanks to
everyone who wished Kim a Fantastic Birthday... I think this
will be one birthday she NEVER forgets....hahaha
I also want to say a HUGE thanks to everyone who left a
message for me... I am sooo overwhelmed, you peeps
really shocked the crap out me with over 1,000 downloads.... yeah!!!!
that's a 1st for me! WAHOOO, doing da dance.....lol
Now that that's over with I can concentrate on my layouts,
I got so many done the past few days. I am finally getting
caught up! Saturday I got 4 done over at Scrap Orchard...
that place is pretty cool and with it being National
Scrapbooking Day they had lots of challenges, which
helped me get my butt in gear. lol Then I couldn't stop
so the rest of week I got ALL my Halloween ones done...
ohhhh, they came out really cool... I wanted to play
with the kids and make them kinda different than the
ordinary Halloween layouts....I think I accomplished that
too....LOL wanna see them???
Well, I do post them in the SBM gallery. I like to have
them all in one spot... kwim... but I will post a few
here too...and hey, It's my blog and I can do
whatever I want with it.....hahahaha

afraid to call that dentist AGAIN!!!! I am praying to God
that it's just a filling that needs to replaced and not have
another pulled. That was the most terrifying feeling,
and I never want to do that again!!!! I take such good
care of my teeth, I don't know what the crap is happening
to them....maybe I am just getting old! LOL I guess
I will give it another few days and hopefully it will stop,
if not......UGHHHHH!

Well that's all I got for now, nothing new has been happening
and I don't have anything going on for the next week or so.
But I'll come up with something I am sure.

Hello everyone! I just want you all to know how happy

I would never post in the morning.... But under my circumstances I was
woken up early with a hammer and a saw...
Nothing like waking up to THAT!! But I was warned.
Still doesn't make it easy, that's for sure! My DH decided
he wants a wood burning stove in the garage. That means we need
ANOTHER chimney... go figure! lol So I got a bunch of guys in
my yard early this morning banging away...lol I slowly go to the
door, still in my jams, with coffee in hand and the dogs going NUTS!
KC is afraid of everything, she got so scared of these guys,
runs backs into the house slamming me against the door,
trotting on my bare feet, as I try to balance my coffee, but its too late.... COFFEE EVERYWHERE!!!! So not only am I soaking
with coffee early in the morning I am cussing up a storm!!!
Not a pretty site!!! LOL As I sit here and type I look down
at me feet, and no kidding... I got this paw print on my foot
that is completely RED and it matches KC's paw....lol
What a way to start the week!!! Just so you know, all you animal lovers out there.... No Animals were harmed in anyway or fashion...
I do believe KC is hiding under the kitchen table and will
stay there until these guys leave!!! LOL

Do you ever have to be somewhere at a certain time and end up
missing every road you were suppose to take??? Well, that happened
to me yesterday. Oh yeah, yesterday was just as good as today started out.....lol Can I go back to bed and not wake up til tomorrow???? No such luck!!
Yesterday was my monthly meeting with the Stampin' Up! girls.
We have 3 new members and I haven't been to any of their homes yet.
Also I am not familiar with the area where they live. I got the
directions and THOUGHT I knew how to get there,
but honest to God I missed every ROAD... I had to back track
3 times!!!! I was so happy when I finally arrived!!
Parking was fun too!!! Little spot, little car, should have no problems,
yeah right!!! 3 inches away from a boat, I park... If I back straight up
I would be pulling a boat home with me, Hey, not a bad idea,
I always wanted a boat!!! And of course going home should be a breezeeee....
but NOOOOO, the sun was beaming into my eyes and I missed the road
to get back on the highway.... Turn around AGAIN!!! Stop laughing,
it wasn't funny at the time! All in all, as eventful as the ride was,
the time spent with the girls was FUN!!!

My dear friend Jazz is missing again, not do to illness, thank God, but her computer got a nasty virus and she hasn't been around in awhile.
Gosh, I am missing her like crazy! I cant wait till she
gets this virus out of her system and can come back!

Hello everyone! I promise not to type a book tonight...lol
I will make this short and sweet and to the point.... (hopefully) LOL
I mostly played today on the computer, I have to get
layouts done for all the monthly challenges...
1 week to go and POOF October will be over!
Time flies, doesn't it!

Someone has asked me if I could do a QP from the one I
did of Brooke. LOL Way ahead of you... I first had to
ask Kim if that was ok and this morning I got the ok.... yippie!!!!
I was just going to make a different one,
but then it hit me like a ton of bricks.......

I NEVER save my layouts in layers, I don't know why,
but I think I will have to from now on....hahaha
I took it back in photo shop and make a few changes,
nothing that you will see, besides the name taken
off and the picture removed....

Yes, this is a long one.......grab a glass of wine and someone do a
shot of Baileys Irish Creme for me.....LOL

Hello everyone, I got so much going in my head right now, its spinning...
I am trying to figure out where even to begin. So please bear with me
as I try and remember everything I gotta say and do. First thing I gotta
say, I am NOT a morning person, never was and never will be, so you
will NEVER see a post from me in the morning... hahaha I love the smell
of freshly brewed coffee in the morning, nope it's not Folgers but it
sure does smell wonderful and tastes awesome too.
I also love to read my morning paper in peace and quietness,
then do the sudoku, the cryptogram and the daily crossword puzzle.
They say that doing these puzzle makes the brain
stronger, I am not sure about that as my brain seems
to be in a frenzy at the moment....lol

I work on Wednesdays. I was working 4 days a week, but the
sweet doctor I work for seems to think its crowded in his
office, when he is there, so now I only go in when
he isn't there....LOL What I miss most beside the money....lol
is the great friendship I have formed with the girls...
ohhhh the stories I hear, I cant even repeat them on here....LMAO.
But these girls are a blast to be around and they are sooo sweet too!

But anyway, where was I going with this.....Oh crap, I don't remember
......see, I told ya my brain is getting worse! Oh, OK, I remember...

I don't even start work til 10:30am....Now that is a GREAT JOB!!!! LOL

Now onto to scrappin things.......

Yesterday was one heck of a day, I didn't realize all the stuff you
got to do when you give people an award....LOL I went to every ones
site, to let them know and of course I had to read EVERYTHING....LOL,
at least I am up to date with everyone now....but it sure did seem to
take forever....hahaha I gotta learn to pace myself better...
As I was giving this award away, I was getting more too, who would
of thought....LOL Honestly, I thought that was my 1st and only award
I would ever get, yeppers, what was I thinking??? ...
oh soooo wrong I was.....LOL
Gosh, I am on cloud nine, now I gotta make some room in here for them,
ohhhh, and my ego is about to burst......hahaha But I promise it wont
stay in my head that long, nothing ever does lately....hahaha
So Eila, I Thank You soooooo much!!!!! How sweet of you to make an award,
yep, you heard me right, she made it all by herself and its gorgeous!!!!!!!!

And get this....
I dont have to do anything with it!!!! NOT ONE THING!!!!! LOL
And I don't mean to sound ungrateful to anyone, but for right now,
I am gonna hold onto this one and not share....LOL I will at some point,
but just not yet! Because I have another to share.....from Eila also...
that girl is just full of surprises isn't she....lol

I have to name 7 things I love and pass it to 7 people, I think that's what I gotta do anyway...... so here it goes
seven things I love:

1. My Hubby Buzz, I picked him to spend the rest of my life with, through the good and the bad, he is always here.....He IS always here, how do I get him to go away for a few days???? LMAO

2. My two teenage girls, Heather 19, and Amber 16, yes I DO love them, I don't like them at the moment, and I don't think I will like them until they stop knowing EVERYTHING! and move out of my house, but YES, I do love them! (I think if I say that often enough, I will start to believe that) hahahaha

3. My dogs...Shelby and KC....aka Lazy and Crazy.... Need I say anything more....hahaha But I do love them, more than my kids sometimes... I know that sounds
really cruel, but you dont have to live with these 2 girls, I DO!

4. My Sisters, Lisa and Kimmy. Without Lisa, I'd be dead by now....so you can all thank her for my existence today.....LOL Kimmy has too many babies at the moment, if you think my brain is fried, you should see her....and wait....they all are gonna be teenagers....whewwwwww, by then, I'll be done! Probably onto grand kids then.....YIKES!!!!!

5. My Friends, Yes, there are way too many to mention, and I cant think of all the names anyway!
But what a wonderful feeling to have to know that there are soooo many!

6. The warmth of the sun beating down on my face!

7. Pizza, yes I LOVE pizza, anytime, anywhere, any day! LOL

Yes, there is more that I Love, but that will have to wait, I can only name 7 today....LOL who makes these rules anyway???? The blog police???? LMAO

It's called Loryn and get this, she is doing a series of these of her friends, I can't wait to see who the next friend is gonna be..and when and if she ever does Deon....ohhh that's gonna be something to see.....LOL Should be very interesting to watch....lol

This weekend, I started making stuff for the Christmas Blog Train, ohhh I cant
wait to show you peeps! But you got to wait until December, I just thought I would get started on it, cause I usually am a procrastinator, wait till the day before, but by then my brain will be fried with all the other wonderful, time consuming things that have to be done before Christmas.

Sunday, I made a huge pot of French Onion Soup, I think it was the best I ever made.
Which is something I say every time I make it.... but it was really good and went perfect for a cool fall day. Yes, it finally got chilly here, YIPPIE!!! sweat pants and a sweat shirt, comfy clothes besides my jams! lol The soup took about 4 hours to make, all the time waiting for the 20lbs of onions to caramelize, I could of been scrappin, but nooooo.....lol actually it was worth the wait! Now the next time I am hungry for it, I can just pop it out of the freezer!

I did find some time to play last night, still on the fall theme...lol Well it is FALL! lol I made this leaf charm and I was trying to figure out what it would go with.... hmmmm.... Word Art....so that's what I dabbled with, then I thought I need paper to go with it....so today you get the word art and a ripped paper. I do love those, I think it adds a little dimension to a layout. Here is the preview:

I know, I know, what am I so excited about, but I am, it's my first one, well actually second one, cause I got one before, but I didn't have a blog that I could rant and rave on...lol So let me get this out of my system...YA YA YA I got an AWARD YAHOOOOOOOOO....ok, see I am done, that didn't last long, did it? LOL
Thank You Soooo much Paula! Now I got to to give this to some peeps....hmmmmmm, let me think about this one and I promise by Monday I will have my list ready...there just are so many wonderful people out there, how will I ever decide????? LOL

Here is the layout I did of Zander trying to eat his cake, I really don't think anything made it into his mouth...lol He actually was a lot neater than his brother, Brett! But they are always so cute when you put a full cake in front of them, wish someone would do that for me....lol I promise to eat the whole thing!!! lol

Lets see what else do I have to share...hmmmmm....lots!!!! I have been working on my fall layouts, I gotta say, even I am impressed how they came out....but I do LOVE fall and hopefully by tomorrow the weather will feel like it too. I am ready to put my air condition back on!!! I sure am hoping its not the mid-life hot flashes!!! I am so not ready for that....hahaha

What happened to Fall?

It's 80 degrees here today! I thought it was
suppose to get colder not hotter. Thank goodness
I didn't pack the summer clothes away yet.
But today is a jammie day, I've been so busy this
entire weekend, running all over place that I decided
not to do a darn thing except work on this computer.
First things first... updating this blog! I want to thank all
you wonderful peeps for the sweetest comments. And
those that put humor in for me to read about my
squirrel issue had me in stitches...suicide squirrel was the
winner in my book! Thanks for the laughs everyone!

Saturday was my nephew Zander's 1st birthday. I just love
going to my sister's house. I also love leaving there. hahaha
It's like a nursery school, little kids EVERYWHERE....lol
She has 3 little boys all under the age of 3.
It might just be me, but she has the most gorgeous
little boys! And of course there is Brooke who is 8 and what a
sweetheart she is. I got so many pictures at the party and this
time it was Brooke who I got the best pictures of. But I have
to work on Zander's pictures first, he was the main reason for
this gathering, besides he is a real cutie too. I got one layout done
of him. Wanna see?? lol

More to follow. I have to get this brain in scrap mode and out of
picture taken mode.

Sunday was quality time with hubby. We spent the entire day together.
Which was rather nice. We headed north to do some site seeing and
get fall pictures. I brought 2 cameras and half way through my small
camera died on me, I was click happy....lol just point and shoot out
the window....lol I was bound to get some good shots...lol Lots of poles
too and street signs and sooo many utility wires! hahaha But I must
say my Canon was well worth every penny! I got some great pictures
with it. Out of the 238 pictures I took, I got 57 keepers, now I have to
decide how I am going to use all these....lol I don't think I will be doing
57 layouts!!! lol Here are 2 pictures for ya'll to see:

So between the party and the fall pics I got plenty to
work on, for awhile at least! lol
